Information on Condensation

Condensation DOES NOT Indicate Defect

It is normal when condensation is accumulated inside the lights. Condensation occurs due to temperature differences, low pressure areas that draw moisture in the winter and other climate changes. It does not affect the optical functionality of the lights.

Common Causes of Condensation

Large changes in daily temperature is a common cause.Leaking seals on bulbs and/or sockets could cause so make sure to inspect these components.Water vapor collected from increases of humidity and dew.

Resolving the Condensation

Check/Inspect that vents are not blocked and then switch on the low beams for about 20 minutes to raise temperature and evaporate condensation. Remove bulb out and clear up the moisture using hair dryer or heat gun at low temperature to speed up process. Place a silica gel desiccant packet in the housing to soak up the moisture from the inside.
